(A1) This is also valid for the language holiday courses, courses for those who would like to combine language and cultural experience.
L'Italiano Porticando offers, furthermore, topic related one week courses which include the language course as well as the extra-curricular activities, as for example "Italian for Gourmets", "Christmas in a different way" or "Italian and Italy's Unification" or "Italian and FIAT". Thus, giving the student the possibility to practise the language and their hobbies and interests during their holidays in Piedmont. Futhermore, for those who'd like to learn Italian in Turin and, at the same time, get to know another city of Northern Italy, L'Italiano Porticando proposes two courses: the first "Chocolate with Pesto", in Turin and Genoa and the second one, "Turin-Milan: learn Italian between art and culture ...", in Turin and Milan! NEW ! The school organizes upon request special and job related courses, such as courses on business Italian.
Furthermore the school proposes weekly afternoon activities as walks in the city centre, at the market, aperitifs at school etc., which help to get to know better the surroundings and the daily life of this city and which, of course, have the aim to practise Italian also outside the classroom. These activities are included in the course fee and not charged separately.
The duration of
a course depends on the type of course chosen and on the
student's needs. It means that a student can sign up
from one week, to four weeks for an entire level, to several months.
